You Can Get A 2015 VW TDI For A Big Discount

If you want a cheap Volkswagen TDI while they’re still on the market in the United States, now’s the time to make your move. The automaker is selling a number of 2015 models at a steep discount, according to a CarsDirect report.

How does an $8,500 discount sound to you? That’s on a lease. If you want to buy, there another catch. While you can get 0 percent APR for 72 months, plus a $5,000 cash bonus, your credit has to be sparkling, at least reportedly. Sure, you can buy them anyway, but the deal won’t be as good.

These discounted models include the Passat, Jetta, Beetle Convertible and Coupe, Golf, and Golf SportWagen that use the EA288 2.0-liter four-cylinder TDI engine. Of course, they’ve been fixed so loads of NOx isn’t spewing from the tailpipe.

Audi is also getting in on the post-Dieselgate sweet deals. It’s offering 1.9 percent APR for up to 66 months on select vehicles with the 2.0-liter TDI.

The fix for these vehicles included flashing the Engine Control Module so they don’t cheat on emissions anymore. If you’re concerned about drivability, I suggest taking one for a test drive to see the results for yourself.
