2018 BMW 2 Series Changes Revealed

BMW has revealed some changes for the 2018 2 Series Coupe and Convertible. They’re actually on the light side, so big fans might not even notice them.

2017 brought two new engines to the lineup, and those carry on unchanged for 2018. Most of the changes are cosmetic, with some on the outside and some inside.

The most dramatic change to the exterior is new LED headlights and taillights. They look like what you get on pretty much every other modern Bimmer, including LED “eyebrows.” Adaptive LED headlights are now available. With the 230i, LED front foglights are standard. In addition to that, BMW is offering three new paint colors, called Seaside Blue, Mediterranean Blue Metallic, and Sunset Orange.

You’ll also have more light alloy wheel choices for the 2 Series. They come in the M Sport package and the Track and Handling Package. Buyers can upgrade to Ferric Grey light alloy wheels.

The interior has undergone even more subtle updates. The instrument cluster is different, with an updated layout and look. Some of the interior materials have been changed, too, including some accent stitching, plus other small details.

We should have pricing info a little before the car hits showrooms in late summer.
