Fiat Debuts the Limited-Edition Abarth 595 Trofeo Edition

Fiat and Abarth have been steadily releasing special editions of their tiny 500 and 595, respectively, including the 595 Competizione, 500 Bi-Colore, and more. Today, Fiat and Abarth have teamed up to release yet another limited-edition version of the 595 in the form of the 595 Trofeo Edition.

This limited-run version of the small hatchback will come with a slew of new features, including painted brake calipers with matching center caps, carbon-effect Abarth decals, 17-inch Formula alloy rollers, dark-tinted rear quarter windows, and Trofeo Edition badges. It also comes in three different exterior colors: Record Grey, Scorpione Black or Officina Red
Powering this model is the same 1.4-liter turbocharged engine as the base Abarth 595. This injects 140 horsepower into the tiny hatch, which allows it to hit 62 mph in just 7.9 seconds and top out at 127 mph. This small engine and tiny platform add up to impressive fuel economy numbers, as the 595 Trofeo gets 43.5 mpg on the combined cycle.
All of the extra features would normally add £1,275 ($1,970) to the MSRP of the Abarth 595, but this model will only add £540 ($835) to the base price. This means that the limited-edition 595 Trofeo Edition will cost just £15,150 ($23,418) OTR. Buyers can also take advantage of PCP financing (similar to leasing here in the U.S.) with a £1,865 ($2,883) deposit and monthly payments of £199 ($308) for three years.
Interested buyers can pick up the 595 Trofeo Edition now, but you’ll have to act fast, as there are only 250 examples available. Unfortunately, this model will only be available in the U.K.
