Nissan to Show Off the GT-R N Attack at SEMA

What’s better than a GT-R NISMO? Not too much, but one that is tuned specifically for tackling the Nurburgring is certainly a candidate. Nissan has announced that this package will soon be available for the GT-R, and will launch at the 2015 SEMA show.

Dubbed the N Attack package, this offering of go-faster bits is derived from the time attack program – this is when Nissan set the production-vehicle record on the famed Nurburgring. While the details are still a little sketchy on just what this package will offer, we do know that it’ll be easy to spot from the outside, thanks to its large rear wing that helps boost downforce.
This package also includes a modified suspension system to help keep order in the corners. Unfortunately, Nissan didn’t reveal what modifications it made to the N Attack’s suspension system.

The final modification is inside the cabin. In here, Nissan installed a set of bucket seats that keep your backside better planted in the corners.
There are no under-hood changes with the N Attack package. This means that buyers will just have to live with the standard 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-6 that produces 600 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque. Who could ever get by with such limited horsepower numbers… yeah, I bet I could.
Nissan did not announce when this package will be available in the U.S., but it did mention that its Nismo Omori Factory will handle assembly and installation in Japan, while STILLEN will take care of selling and assembling this package here in the U.S.
Stay tuned for additional details on the N Attack package, as we should learn more about it following its November 3rd debut.
