Lincoln Reveals Anti-Cadillac Navigator Concept

While the SUV is a “design study,” it obviously is previewing what the next-gen Navigator will be like. Don’t expect the garish gullwing doors to make the cut, or the deployable “concertina” steps that look like they belong in a baseball stadium.

The brand says it looked to boats for design inspiration, and you can definitely feel that theme throughout. It’s easy to make some jokes about land barges and all, but in a way the Navigator Concept is a breath of fresh air and a nice change from the angular angriness coming from Cadillac for some time.
If you must know, it does pack a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6that churns out over 400 horsepower. It’s also packed with all kinds of tech and even a wardrobe management system.
