Dodge Offers Heritage-Inspired Colors

In case you haven’t noticed, Dodge isn’t exactly into developing revolutionary products lately. The latest move to get vehicles scooting off lots is to offer “heritage-inspired” colors, because who can resist Bomber Brown or Go Mango?

To show just how desperate this move is, Dodge isn’t limiting these colors to 2017 Challengers, Chargers and Durangos. No, the Grand Caravan and Journey are included, because they have a strong connection with the storied Mopar past. The Dart of course isn’t, because it’s dead.
Just the fact that Dodge, which is supposed to be the affordable performance line from FCA, even sells a minivan and mediocre crossover is pretty sad. Offering to paint them exciting colors, like placing a sticker over a festering wound, is even more pathetic.
Admittedly, some of the colors in the long list are pretty cool-looking. They also are better-suited for vehicles that can back them up with serious performance.
