BMW Makes Light Tweaks to the 2018 6 Series
The BMW 6 Series is hanging on to the old BMW body style with quite the death grip while most of the other models have moved to the design. With BMW recently unveiling the new 2018 6 Series, it appears as if this will continue for at least another year, as there are only mild tweaks to its options.
The biggest changes are to the optional M Sport Package. BMW will now allow buyers who go with the M Sport Package to opt for the carbon-fiber trim and bi-color 20-inch M light-alloy wheels with run-flat tires – both features were previously only available with the M6. Buyers of the 2018 6 Series will also be able to select a new exterior color: Sonic Speed Blue.
For those looking for more exclusivity can bring their 6 Series to BMW Individual for some customization. Buyers can choose from a bevy of optional colors, high-end cow hide, upgraded trim, new headliners and other equipment to make their 6er truly theirs.
The 2018 BMW 6 Series will arrive in the spring of 2017 as a Gran Coupe and a convertible in two variants: 640i and 650i. All 2018 6 Series models will come standard with rear-wheel drive, but xDrive all-wheel drive will be available as an option.
Pricing will come later, so stay tuned.
