If the Mercedes-AMG GT wasn’t enough for you, I have two things to say to you. First, congrats, you’re officially a badass. Second, the GT is getting better in 2017. And I’m not talking about some nips and tucks – I mean power increases, stylistic changes, performance updates and a new version.

First, the updated look. Most all gearheads fell in love with the AMG Panamericana grille that debuted on the GT R. Well, that is now standard equipment on all 2018 AMG GTs. It also boasts a new front bumper with larger air inlets. Buyers will also get the AIRPANEL, which opens and closes an air vent to allow for additional cooling or reduced drag, as a standard feature.

The changes that likely matter most to AMG GT buyers are the power upgrades. The base GT sees its 4.0-liter V-8 rise by 13 horses to 469 horsepower and 22 pound-feet of torque 465 pound-feet. For the GT S, its output is up 12 ponies and 15 pound-feet to 515 horsepower and 494 pound-feet of torque. As for the GT C and GT R, they remain at 550 and 577 horsepower, respectively.

Speaking of the GT C… in 2018, there will be a coupe version to compliment the previously launched roadster variant. Like its roadster sibling, the AMG GT C has plenty of performance and stylistic goodies, including widened rear fenders, larger wheels, AMG sports suspension, rear-axle steering. A limited-slip rear diff and a 550-horsepower V-8.

Ushering in the GT C Coupe, which celebrates AMG’s 50th birthday, will be an Edition 50 version of the powerful hardtop – there will also be a roadster version. This special model will come in an exclusive designo Graphite Grey Magno exterior with black-chrome highlights and Edition 50 badges. The interior will boast a black and silver motif, Nappa leather trimming, a DINAMICA-wrapped performance steering wheel, the AMG Night package, Carbon Fiber Matte trimming, AMG Piano Black accents, “GT Edition 50” embossed seats and more. Mercedes-AMG will build 100 Edition 50 models — 50 coupes and 50 roadsters.
