1. Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 R-Spec – MSRP from $28,750

This version of the Genesis Coupe is the hottest you can get for under $30,000. Under the hood sits a 3.8-liter V6 engine that puts out 348 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. The configuration only comes with a manual transmission, which should please true enthusiasts and irk posers. Depending on who is doing the testing, the car goes from 0 to 60 in about 5.3 seconds, making it plenty quick. The Genesis Coupe has quickly gained a reputation for being light on its feet, making it a great vehicle for winding roads or tight tracks. The car is also pretty comfortable for the money, thanks to features like the Blue Link telematics system, power lumbar adjustment for the driver’s seat, and an Infinity sound system with ten speakers and HD radio.
