The Juke-R has been making waves since it debuted as a concept in 2012, and it continues to be one of the most unique cars available. For those who find this €500,000 ($563,750) crossover and its sub-three-second 0-to-60 time uninteresting, Nissan is set to launch the Nismo version of this insane crossover at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of speed.

The details behind this model remain unconfirmed for now, but it is pretty easy to figure out what Nisan is up to. Given the original Juke-R had a 545-horsepower 3.8-liter twin-turbo from the GT-R, it only makes sense for the Nismo version to inherit the new GT-R Nismo’s 600-horsepower version of the V-6.

In addition to the more powerful V-6, the Juke-R Nismo will arrive with a more aggressive aerodynamic kit, which you can partially see in the dark teaser image above. It should also have a slightly revised chassis that stiffens up the springs and dampers, and possibly tosses in larger anti-roll bars.

What remains unknown is whether the Juke-R Nismo will be a production model, like the Juke-R was, or if it’ll be just a one-off car built specifically for these sort of events. Only time will tell here, as even the Juke-R had a slow rollout to its limited production run.

All of the aforementioned details are simply educated guesses based on the GT-R versus the GT-R Nismo, but we’ll all have to wait until Goodwood kicks off on June 25th for the official word on this fast crossover. We’ll be here to lay out all of the details for you, so stay tuned for the latest updates.
