Go Back In The Future With A New DeLorean DMC-12

We all have our irrational loves as automotive enthusiasts. Mine might be Italian cars that will break down constantly, while yours might be a retro DeLorean DMC-12. Pretty soon you’ll be able to buy that 1980s icon and relive all your Back to the Future fantasies.

DeLorean Motor Company, which is based out of Humble, Texas is bringing the DMC-12 back. It anticipates deliveries of the car to fire up in 2017. You can go to the website right now and preorder one.

The bad news is there isn’t an official price for the DMC-12 just yet. Previously, the same company was hawking restored DMC-12s at a starting price of $65,500. Each of the new cars is made by hand, with only one rolling out of the Texas facility each month. In other words, they won’t be cheap.
