With the debut of the redesign 2017 BMW 7 Series just around the corner, Bimmer has decided to release one more teaser video showing off its flagship sedan. We get it, Bimmer, you’re excited about this much-needed redesign, but enough with the teasers already.

While this teaser video doesn’t give up a lot, it does confirm my suspicions that this will be a logical evolution of the existing 7 Series. BMW will perform most of the updates that have been making their way across the entire lineup. These changes include to-the-grille headlights, a revised kidney grille, and sleeker taillights. Also clear in the video are chrome strikethroughs on the taillights and more pronounced ridges in the body.

BMW also teases a few known technological upgrades in the video. These include the new Carbon Core construction, which will help lighten the large sedan by up to 290 pounds and stiffen the body of the 7 Series, and the Laserlight technology, which has yet to receive approval from the NHTSA here in the U.S.

The drivetrain lineup will reportedly consist of the new 3.0-lier inline six that debuted with the 2016 340i, a 460-horsepower V-8, and a 6.6-liter V-12 with 600 ponies at its disposal. Another big update for the 2017 7 Series is the addition of remote-control parking, which is the feature I am most excited to learn all about.

In the video (below) BMW also confirms that the new 7 Series will make its online debut on June 10th, 2015. Look for the big Bimmer to makes its in-the-metal debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, which kicks off on September 19th.

Stay tuned for more details, and we’ll bring them to you as they become available.
