Last month, VW revealed the 2016 Passat and its changes, which included a new front and rear design, an updated cabin, new LED headlights and taillights, and the first-ever R-Line Passat in the U.S. At the same time, the automaker also revealed the starting price of $22,440 for the base 1.8T S model, but let the rest of the lineup unpriced. Today, Volkswagen fills the gaps in the lineup by releasing all of the pricing details on the new sedan.

As VW revealed last month, the 1.8T S starts out at $22,440. At this price point, VW offers the Passat with 16-inch aluminum wheels, Climatronic dual climate control, the MIB II Composition Color 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a rearview camera, and a USB port. Optionally, buyers can get LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED taillights as part of the $1,245 Lighting Package.

The new R-Line trim level adds a little more sportiness to the 2016 Passat by way of unique rocker panels, a restyled front bumper with black accents, a special rear diffuser, 19-inch aluminum wheels, and performance tires. This new-for-2016 trim level starts from $23,975, but buyers can add the Comfort Package, which includes V-Tex leatherette seating, a power driver seat, heated front seats, heated exterior mirrors, and heated washer nozzles for an extra $775. Also available is the Lighting Package for $1,095.

Moving into the SE trim will set buyers back at least $26,280. This trim features all of the standard S features plus 17-inch wheels, a power sunroof, SiriusXM radio, a second USB port, a 6.3-inch infotainment screen, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, V-Tex seating with heat up front, a power driver’s seat, and more. The optional Lighting Package comes in at $1,245 on this trim.

The SE w/ Technology trim level begins at $28,410, and it features all that the SE comes with and then some. The additional features on this trim include a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, keyless entry with push-button start, a hands-free trunk, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and more.

The SEL trim starts from $30,495 and adds 18-inch wheels, a Fender audio system, stainless-steel pedals, Vienna leather upholstery, power front seats with memory, and more. Moving into the SEL Premium adds $3,775 to the SEL’s price tag, and it comes standard with LED headlights, daytime running lights and taillights, remote start, lane-departure warning with assist, and more. Adding the 3.6-liter V-6 jumps the price to $36,835.

There is no official word on when the 2016 Passat will arrive in dealers, but it should be very soon.
