The ponies are starting to march out of the stable, and this time Roush showing off what it has in store for the 2015 Ford Mustang. The tuner has generated a solid following as it has transformed all kinds of Mustangs by boosting performance and making them look sleeker and more aggressive, which is exactly what it’s done again.

Just like before, Roush is selling different tune stages for the new Mustang. The packages are called RS, RS1, RS2 and RS3, but so far the tuner has only divulged the details for the first three packages. The RS is for the base V-6 Mustang. Among the aesthetic mods is a new front fascia, front grilles, chin splitter, badges and blackout panel for the decklid. Buyers will be able to add additional external mods like 20-inch wheels, a hood scoop, and graphics. The interior comes with special floor mats and a medallion for the dash.

The RS1 package adds a little more performance for the EcoBoost model, which is brand new for 2015. It comes with many of the same appearance upgrades and also includes a high-performance exhaust system with four tips. The optional equipment is similar as well, and includes an instrument gauge cluster, side scoops, and an Activ8 Performance Exhaust Featuring Apptiv Technology, which allows the driver to select the sound level coming from the exhaust.

The final package that has been revealed is the RS2, which is for the Mustang GT with the 5.0-liter V-8 engine. The same set of exterior upgrades are joined by a rear wing and high-performance Cooper RS3 tires. The Activ8 exhaust system is still available as an option, as are quarter window scoops, a shifter ball for cars with the manual transmission, and a reverse sensing system.

You’ll notice that none of the packages adds to the engine output for the 2015 Mustang. For those who really crave performance, the RS3 package, which is still under wraps, will involve the installation of a supercharger that undoubtedly will boost the level of performance for the GT significantly.
