Tons of people are waiting with baited breath for Toyota’s upcoming sports car, which hopefully will be called the Supra. Jointly developed with BMW, the new car should be pretty technologically advanced. And with new spy video courtesy of the guys at SupraMKV, which you can see below, we know more about the car.
In the video, you see a prototype Supra leaving and returning to the BMW M Test Center, which is located at the famed Nurburgring.
One of the most shocking details is the size of the Supra. It’s tiny! Despite the camo, you can tell it has the double-bubble roof from the Toyota FT-1 concept, plus the highly raked windshield, pointed nose, huge rear fenders and an integrated spoiler on the rear hatch.
Plenty of people are complaining about how quiet the prototype is in the video. Keep in mind the rumor is that a hybrid version of the car will be offered, so we could be seeing it running bot the motor and engine. Also, the sound quality from the video probably isn’t super great, and there’s quite a bit of traffic and other noise in the background. Plus the car’s a prototype, so the final product could have a different exhaust tune, or maybe it has dual-mode exhaust system.
