8. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

Technically, the Lancer Evolution is dying in the 2015 model year, but its Final Edition model will ooze into 2016 before riding off into the sunset.

This is by far the most saddening model on our list as it is not only the most fun of the bunch, but it is also the last model that harks back to Mitsubishi’s more fun past. Now the automaker is chock-full with crappy economy cars and crossovers that feel like lifted-up tin cans.

As a last hurrah, the Lancer Evolution Final Edition will get an extra 12 horsepower, an upgraded suspension, new brakes, and some aesthetic bits.
