See the Trackhawk Take on the Hellcat

Just admit it: you’ve been curious about how the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk stacks up in a drag race against the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody. They have the same supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V-8 pumping out 707 horsepower, so really the difference is in gearing and rear-wheel drive versus all-wheel drive.

Hennessey has satisfied our curiosity with the video above. The Texas tuner took completely stock versions of both vehicles, something you don’t really see around there, and raced them against each other. Even the tires are exactly what you get from the dealer.

This clash of the titans starts with lots of rumbling, then two pristine launches that involve no tire spin. The Jeep’s all-wheel drive gives it a huge advantage off the line, and it takes a commanding lead from the start.
