Watch The Lotus 3-Eleven Power Around The Nurburgring

It’s not every day you see a 3-Eleven, let alone get a viewpoint of what it’s like to drive the car around a track at WOT. Lotus has blessed us all with a video of the ultra-light car whipping through the Nurburgring, which you can watch below.

You might want to take a few deep breaths before watching the video, sit down and prepare yourself. While the video quality isn’t great, the camera is strapped onto the front of the car. That means you almost get the sensation of being behind the wheel.

Marc Basseng piloted the Lotus 3-Eleven around the Green Hell. As you can see in the video, he had to deal with a fair amount of traffic. Admittedly, he made cars like a Porsche 911 GT3 RS look slow, which is no small task. Apparently, it was Basseng’s first time driving the car anywhere in public.
