Among the information confirmed the other day was the RS’ base MSRP of $36,605. One question was left unanswered, and that was what we will get for this price.
First and foremost are the four available colors. The no-cost colors are Shadow Black, Frozen White, and Stealth Gray. Buyers can also opt for Nitrous Blue, but that color will set them back an extra $695.
Also included in the base price is a set of 19-inch painted alloy wheels wrapped up in 235/35R19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport rubber. There are forged-alloy wheels also available, but these run and extra $1,990 with track tires or $1,395 with the standard rubber. Another standalone option is the $895 power moonroof.

Inside the cabin, the standard Focus RS comes with the sporty Recaro seats wrapped up in partial leather with “RS” logos on the front seats. Also standard is Ford’s new Sync 3 system and a 10-speaker Sony audio system with a touchscreen. For buyers willing to drop an extra $2,785, they can get the RS2 package, which adds in black leather Recaro seats with Miko-Dinamica inserts, and eight-way power driver’s seat, heated mirrors, front seats and steering wheel, and voice-activated navigation.
For buyers who will stand for nothing less than a fully optioned-out Focus RS, they can expect to shell out $42,970.
Keep it locked here for more information on this badass new hatchback, as I am sure there will be more details as we approach its release date.
