Hennessey Tweaks the 2018 Lincoln Navigator

The 2018 Lincoln Navigator is a beautiful, understated luxury SUV, even though it’s as big as a tool shed. Hennessey has a way to taking vehicles that aren’t overly fast and turning them into land missiles, which it’s done here yet again.

You can get your Navigator customized by the Texas tuner in two different flavors. HPE500 pushes performance to 500 horsepower, thanks to tweaks like a stainless steel catback exhaust, high-flow air induction system, and an ECU upgrade. You also get the usual numbered plaque and embroidered headrests to prove this is no regular Navigator.

For those who want to get crazy, the HPE600 pushes – you guessed it – 600 horsepower. The SUV can spring from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds and do the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds at 107 mph, which is impressive for such a heavy machine. To extract that much more power, Hennessey concentrated on the turbo system, modifying the wastegate and intercooler, plus included all the hardware for the HPE500.

If you want to add Brembo front and rear brakes, a lowering kit, and 22-inch Monoblock wheels wrapped with performance tires, that’s extra. Honestly, that’s not some crazy build, so you could probably push the Navigator so much further. Sure, it wouldn’t come with Hennessey’s 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, but maybe you could show the luxury SUV off on Netflix’s Fastest Car series for season two.
