Like its main rival, the Camaro, the 2016 Ford Mustang also has a six-speed manual as its base transmission across the board. Buyers can choose from the base 3.7-liter V-6 with 300 horsepower, the relatively new 2.3-liter four-cylinder with 310 horsepower, or the 435-pony 5.0-liter V-8 with this do-it-yourself gearbox as a standard feature, and this is showing no signs of changing anytime soon.
