As the calendar flips one month closer to the close of 2016, we are nearing the end of the line for the 2017 model debuts. Recently, Nissan has been on a tear with 2017 debuts and the latest is the Murano crossover.

Recently off a complete redesign, the looks of the Murano will remain completely unchanged. Also remaining the same is its upscale cabin and its 3.5-liter V-6 engine that delivers 260 horsepower through an Xtronic transmission. Front-wheel drive will continue as the standard setup while all-wheel drive will be an option.

The only changes of note for the 2017 Murano include the addition of available Apple CarPlay and the expanded availability of its Driver Attention Alert to the SV trim as a part of the Driver Assistance Package. The latter feature will provide an audible and visual warning if it suspects the driver is not paying attention to the road.

Pricing for the 2017 Murano remains completely unchanged as it starts from $29,740 and tops out at $40,780. The details surrounding the hybrid model are not available yet, but I would guess they should come before the end of the year.

The 2017 Nisan Murano is available for purchase at Nissan dealers nationwide today.
