The Mini Countryman is Not Only Larger in Size, but it is in Price too

Mini completely redid the Countryman for 2017, making it larger, nimbler, more powerful and more feature-packed than ever before. While most news about the new Countryman is readily available, the automaker has just announced official pricing and standard features for what it anticipates being its best-selling model.

The Mini Countryman will come in five versions: Cooper, Cooper ALL4, Cooper S, Cooper S ALL4 and Cooper S E All 4. The latter model is the first-ever plug-in hybrid from Mini, and its pricing will come closer to its 2017 launch.

The base-level Cooper trim will start from $26,950 ($850 destination fee included), making it a whopping $3,350 more than the previous generation. As for the Cooper ALL4, Cooper S and Cooper S ALL4, they will check in at $28,950, $29,950 and $31,950, respectively.

While the 2017 model will start at a surprisingly high price, it will be the best-equipped base Mini ever. It’ll include premium features like a panorama sunroof, leatherette upholstery, keyless entry, the Mini Connected infotainment system with a 6.5-inch display, a rearview camera, rear parking-distance control, Bluetooth connectivity and audio streaming, auto headlights and wipers, 17-inch light alloy wheels and more. Folks who opt for a model with ALL4 all-wheel drive will also get standard heated front seats.

The 2017 Mini Countryman will hit U.S. showrooms in March of 2017, while the plug-in hybrid version will be up for sale in June of the same year.
