Back in February 2015, Bentley launched its revised Continental GT, and these tweaks spilled over to the Speed model in the form of new front and rear bumpers, a new trunk lid, and a new rear diffuser. Today, Bentley announces further enhancements to the GT Speed in the form of more power and a new Black Edition model to go along with it.

Under its hood, Bentley tweaked the model’s 6.0-liter W-12 engine to pump out 633 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque, which are decent increases from last year’s 626 horsepower and 605 pound-feet output. What’s more, the automaker’s engineers also fiddled with the Continental GT Speed’s boost and managed to extend maximum torque levels to between 2,000 and 6,000 rpm, which plays a big part in its 3.9-second 0-to-60 sprint time—0.1 seconds quicker than the previous model.

Also new is the GT Speed Black Edition, which replaces the model’s brightwork with gloss-black trim and adds a set of 21-inch high-gloss-black wheels, giving the Speed a more sinister appearance. Also included are contrast color options for the front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser. These color options include Hallmark, Beluga, St James’ Red, and Cyber Yellow (new color).

The GT Speed Black Edition’s interior also gets a slight darkening and a slew of contrast colors. The dashboard fascia, center console, and roof console are all crafted from carbon fiber while the seats and center console are bordered by contrast-colored leather and highlighted by contrast stitching.

Bentley has yet to reveal the prices for these two powerful luxury rigs, but it did announce that they’ll hit showrooms in the summer of 2016.
