Nissan revealed the 2017 GT-R Premium earlier this month and followed that up with the release of the 600-horsepower NISMO version the very next day. Today, we head back to the non-NISMO GT-R as Nissan has revealed the starting price of the updated model.

For the 2017 model year, the GT-R Premium gets an updated V-motion grille, a restyled hood and bumper, new daytime running lights, new 20-inch RAYS wheels, a new silver insert on the rear diffuser, new air vents on the rear bumper, and a new four-tip exhaust system. Mechanically, the 2017 GT-R Premium will feature the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-6 as before, but with its power cranked up by 20 ponies to a total of 565 horsepower.

The interior is also quieter than ever thanks to its new Active Noise Cancellation and Active Sound Enhancement tech, and new acoustic windshield. Refinements inside continue with the reduction of knobs and switches on the center console from 27 to 11, a new 8-inch center touchscreen, and updated seats for added long-distance comfort.

So, what will all of this run you? A cool $109,990, which is an $8,220 increase over the 2016 GT-R Premium. That is quite a hefty price hike, but Nissan has also put a lot of thought and resources into making the newest GT-R better than any before it.

The rest of the pricing for the 2017 GT-R lineup will come later, so stay tuned.
