Nissan’s resident full-size SUV has been around since 2004 when it debuted as the Pathfinder Armada, but the Pathfinder part of the name only lasted for a single model year. Though there have been some minor styling changes and other minor modifications over the years, the Armada has essentially carried on for a decade in a single generation, and that continues into the 2015 model year.

For 2015, the Armada receives a few small changes, but nothing too significant. The most noticeable changes across the entire Armada range are the revised door trim panels and the standard power lumbar on the driver’s seat. On the SL and Platinum trim levels buyers will notice a new design on the20-inch wheels. Additionally, the 2015 Armada has two new exterior colors, Arctic Metallic Blue and Magnetic Black, which will replace Graphite Blue and Galaxy Black.

Under the hood, things stay the same, as the 2015 Armada features a 5.6-liter V-8 with 317 horses that mates to a five-speed automatic transmission.

Pricing does change as we head into the 2015 model year. The base Armada 4X2 SV starts at $38,060, which is a $1,170 increase over the 2014 model. Moving into the 4X2 SL jumps the price to $43,150 and the 4X2 Platinum model runs $50,430. Four-wheel-drive models require a higher entry fee, as the 4X4 SV starts at $43,360, the 4X4 SL costs $46,050 and the 4X4 Platinum runs $53,330. All of the above prices do not include the $995 destination fee.

The 2015 Armada is available at dealers now.
