Tesla Will Give The Model 3 A Nose Job

While the doubters are doubting that Tesla will be able to deliver the Model 3 on time, big developments are unfolding. One of the first orders of business: Elon Musk won’t keep that awful nose. The company has been asking for design suggestions from its fans, and they’ve been throwing out all kinds of ideas.

Musk tweeted out a ton of details about the Model 3, and many are pretty juicy. Some of the highlights include the trunk opening height and width increasing to lose the hatchback feel people have complained about.

The final aero coefficiency goal is a slippery 0.21, which would be impressive, to say the least. Tesla’s throwing an adjustable air suspension on the Model 3, and don’t be surprised if it’s dynamic.

If you loved the wheels, those will be offered with the production Model 3, but other options might be available as well. The matte black paint will be available, too.

Apparently, the demo vehicles at the unveiling were AWD Model 3s, and the final version will be faster. People lucky enough to take a short spin in them said the EVs were pretty quick, so that’s good news.

A European factory is coming, thanks to all this surging demand for the Model 3. In the ultimate irony, France has offered an old nuclear power plant.

That weird gauge-less interior will get further tweaking, likely a HUD. And a different steering wheel design is coming. Those will be in the second unveiling.
