Smart Ad Uses Plenty of Foul Language & Children to Promote the ForFour [NSFW]

SmartFor any responsible parent, you understand the importance of putting a filter on your language around your kids. Unfortunately, there are just some situations where you let the F-bomb slip around you young one. Next thing you know, your kid is repeating that four-letter words that you just let fly. All you can do is explain to your kid that he or she shouldn’t say that word, then answer the bazillion “why” questions that follow.

One such scenario that is an F-bomb magnet is driving. Things happen on the road: people cut you off, you get stuck behind a slow driver, you can’t find a parking space large enough for your land yacht, or you realize that you just passed the last gas station for 20 miles with only 15- miles of gasoline left in the tank. Even I am guilty of sometimes dropping a dirty word with my son strapped in his toddler seat in these situations, and I am pretty good at censoring myself.

Fortunately, my son has only repeated me once, but this new commercial from Smart (below) shows just how great children are at repeating our words and actions while driving.

I am somewhat confused by the commercial, however. I am wondering if it will be an online-only ad, as the swearing will lose its effectiveness with nothing but the necessary bleeps to get it on network TV. I am also a little curious why one kid’s profane rambling is bleeped out while the rest are left in their organic form. Did the kid say something so bad that even Smart thought it was best to omit it?

Check out the video below to see the hilarity, but keep in mind that it is not a safe video for work, so either save it for home or put your headphones on. You have been warned…
