Porsche’s Going To Help You Hunt Down Parking
One of the worst things about living in/visiting a big city is hunting down parking. You can literally spend more time finding a good place to leave your vehicle than it took just to reach where you’re going. But Porsche has your back after buying Evopark.
More specifically, Porsche Digital GmbH purchased a minority stake in the tech startup. Through the service, quite a few parking areas will allow Porsche owners to pay on their tab at the end of each month, which makes filling out expense reports far easier. That means no more having to keep track of those little parking slips, because everything is digital.
Even better, Porsche and Audi drivers will be able to get an hour of free parking at some garages and lots. That offer’s on the table for the next three months, giving you incentive to start using Evopark.
This move is the first big one by the tech-oriented Porsche division. We’re likely to see even more innovative in-vehicle services from the company in not too long, with Porsche flexing its muscles against Google and Apple.
