Italdesign Shows Off Its New Supercar For Geneva

Thanks to a growing number of millionaires worldwide, plus manufacturing advancements, we’re seeing an explosion in boutique supercar brands. Italdesign, a subsidiary of the VW Group, is now jumping into the fray. It’ll be showing off five bespoke models at Geneva, and has revealed one unnamed vehicle (pictured above).

The nameless car looks great, and has loads of carbon fiber in its structure, plus aluminum. It’s powered by a 5.2-liter V-10 that’s probably from the Lamborghini Huracan, but could be borrowed from the Audi R8. Italdesign says 0-60 takes just 3.2 seconds and the top speed is 205 mph.

Of course, this supercar has a super big price tag at $1.6 million. Hey, boutique vehicles are wonderful, but they’re not known for being cheap. Of course, customers will be able to add all kinds of bespoke features, so there’s that.

Be on the lookout for more cars from Italdesign, because the brand’s just getting started.
