The 370Z is still kicking around, despite its aging design, as Nissan plans the next-generation Z car. Pricing and other details for the 2016 370Z have been recently released. Good or bad, there are only a few little tweaks to the car.

One of the most interesting changes is the addition of an optional Bose sound system. It comes with active noise cancellation that’s supposed to eliminate annoying low frequency engine noise, supposedly leaving only the more thrilling engine sounds. If that’s not enough, the system also comes with a sound enhancer that actually amplifies the “desirable” natural sounds from the engine. It’s similar to how the BMW M5 pipes engine sounds into the cabin, a fact that’s been the source of many well-deserved jokes.

The 2016 Nissan 370Z is ready and waiting at local dealerships right now. You can pick up the base model with a six-speed manual transmission for $29,990, which doesn’t include the $825 destination and handling charge. There’s no price increase when compared to the 2015 model, which is good news. Going with the Touring model with the seven-speed automatic transmission will set you back $39,270.

Nissan is still offering four different NISMO models, which range in price from $41,990 to $46,790. The Roadster’s back as well, which you can get from $41,820 to $49,400.

Another small change is the addition of a new paint color called Deep Blue Pearl.

Rumors are flying around all over the place about the next Nissan Z. Supposedly it will be offered with multiple engine options. Some predict that will include a hybrid powertrain option. Speculation also includes that the car could feature retro styling similar to the Nissan IDx concepts. There are also rumors that Nissan will go with a cool, futuristic design. In other words, nobody really knows anything about the next generation Z car, but everyone’s willing to speculate. In the meantime, you can still get the 370Z for the same price, if you’re so inclined.
