Ah, the Consumer Electronics Show. Once a Mecca for gadgets and gizmos, it is been overrun by high-tech automobiles in recent year. This year, there was a smattering of cars there, but one that caught my eye was the McLaren 675LT JVCKENWOOD Concept. This car shows off what both McLaren and JVCKENWOOD have to offer consumers.

Inside the supercar is where most of the magic happens. In here, is a custom dashboard topped with Carbon Black Nappa leather. That soft material also covers upper beltline and the forward portion of the center tunnel. In front of the driver is a waxy-grained Geometric Black Technical Fabric that prevents reflections is positioned just above a strip of Satellite Grey Technical Fabric that crosses the dash and heads to the doors. Also unique to this concept is the steering wheel that it borrows from the P1 GTR, and just beyond this wheel is a heads-up display with graphics inspired by fighter planes.

Seating is handled by a set of racing seats with Calypso Orange bolsters. This bold color continues on to the armrests and around the hip points. In the center of the seats is Grey Technical Fabric for maximum grip. Even the floor mats and headrest are done up is special materials, as the former is in Strata Ribbed Textile and the latter is in Carbon Black Nappa leather.

The exterior of the sleek 675LT only underwent minor changes. The most noticeable of changes are its camera mirrors on the doors. There is also on mounted just above the license plate to give a rearview-mirror effect. Some stripes further enhance the exterior, as there are JVCKENWOOD Silver ones starting at the hood and going all the way to the airbrake, and ones that swoop down the sides of the 675LT. While subtle, these stripes contrast against the Onyx Black body of the McLaren quite nicely.

Of course, this concept has no hopes for production, but that doesn’t take away from its awesomeness. We’ll bring you more from CES as more neat cars are debuted.
