Lamborghini loves its special-edition models and it has released a new one in Geneva. Dubbed the Huracán LP 610-4 Avio, this special version of the entry-level supercar pays homage to the world of aeronautics.

The majority of the changes made to this special-edition model are aesthetic, and they begin with the five exclusive hues. As standard, this model comes painted in a pearlescent Grigio Falco color, while the optional matte colors include Blu Grifo, Grigio Nibbio, Grigio Vulcano, and Verde Turbine. Also setting this car apart are its white or gray accents on the tops of the side members, the side-view mirrors, the front spoiler, and the double stripes that run the length of the supercar.

Further distinguishing this model from other Huracán models are its “L63” logos on the doors that represent the name of the brand and its founding year (1963). Between the “L” and “63” is a tricolor cockade that represents nationality, like in aeronautics.

The interior comes wrapped in black leather with black Alcantara center inserts on the seats. Helping set the centers apart from the rest of the seats are their engraved hexagonal motifs. This engraved material makes its way to the armrest, the knee support, and the door panel. Contrast stitching and the “L63” logos embroidered on the seats round out the interior modifications.

Powering this special edition is the same 5.2-liter V-10 engine that powers the base Huracán. This unit delivers 610 PS (601 horsepower) to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that ships the power to all four wheels. The results of this powerplant speak for themselves, as the Huracán LP 610-4 Avio hits 62 mph in 3.2 seconds and tops in excess of 202 mph.

Lambo has yet to price the Avio but has announced that only 250 units will be available when it hits showrooms in the summer of 2016.
