Jeep has made it tradition to show up to the Jeep Easter Safari in Moab, Utah with at least a couple of concept vehicles. Unlike many of the concept vehicles automakers show off at various automotive shows around the world, the Jeep concepts are fully functioning off-road rigs. Jeep and Mopar representatives, as well as a few lucky journalists, get to drive the concepts on the rugged and wildly famous trails in the area. Not only does this make for some killer promotional photography, but it also proves that Jeep is dead serious about producing highly utilitarian off-road vehicles for the public.

The Jeep Wrangler Maximum Performance is a concept that has been designed to squeeze out maximum power from the vehicle’s powertrain, while at the same time augmenting its off-road abilities.

The Jeep Cherokee Adventurer is based on the all-new Cherokee Trailhawk and has been outfitted with various accessories to increase the SUV’s off-road abilities. The vehicle also features a large Trailhawk logo on the hood. The Jeep Cherokee Dakar is designed to be the most capable Cherokee ever created, thanks to some serious upgrades aimed at hardcore off-roaders.
