Jaguar Gives Us Another Taste of the F-Pace

The F-Pace is just about ready to bow at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show. Ahead of its debut, Jaguar has been busy teasing us with information and images of the upcoming SUV. Today, Jaguar has done it again, only this time the F-Pace is without any camo – last time, it was under a funky coat of paint that hid some details.

This time around, the F-Pace is donning a very production-ready dark blue suit that suites its body lines quite nicely. The F-Pace’s look is very much Jaguar up front, but the back side – save for the taillights – is pretty similar to what we’d expect to see from the latest Land Rover models. The similarities between the brands is no surprise, given they’re under one umbrella.

Unfortunately, Jaguar did not get into many other details regarding the new F-Pace in its press release. It talked a lot about the rest of its lineup, but the only bit of info that it released about the SUV is that it’ll hit showrooms in spring 2016.

Accompanying the image is a pretty neat teaser video. In this video, which you can see below, you’ll get to see the F-Pace assembling itself as it cruises the streets. While there is nothing overly telling in this video, the part where the engine drops into place confirms what we’ve already assumed, which is that the F-Pace will use Jag’s 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 engine.
