Hennessey Reveals Bonkers VelociRaptor 6X6

We can always count on Hennessey to bring to life the wildest car dreams in the United States. This time, the Texas tuner went all-out with the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor, creating the VelociRaptor 6X6. As you can tell from the name and pictures, the truck gains an extra axle and set of wheels in the rear, because why not?

Everyone just learned that the new Raptor puts out a pretty amazing 450 horsepower. That’s obviously too little for Hennessey, which has added at least 150 more horsepower. To squeeze out that kind of performance, the shop adds new turbochargers, a front-mount air-to-air intercooler, a custom exhaust system and an updated ECU tune.

If you’re not into the whole 6×6 thing, Hennessey won’t judge you. Instead, it’ll sell you the VelociRaptor engine for a cool $22,500. To get the full setup, it’ll set you back $295,000. Of course, that price includes a brand new 2017 Raptor SuperCrew, plus 20-inch wheels, a Fox Racing suspension upgrade, 6×6 locking axles, customized bumpers, wider tires, a roll bar mounted in the bed and enough LEDs to illuminate Rhode Island in its entirety.

This is the truck that will make all other vehicles on the road or trail cower.
