Chrysler Rolls Out Alloy Editions of the 200S and 300S

Chrysler only recently announced that the 200 would soon be dead, and surprisingly, the automaker has just announced a new, more premium package for the tiny sedan. Joining the doomed 200 is a 300 with the same Alloy Edition Package. While neither package is overly complex, they do significantly change the appearances of the two Chrysler sedans.

Getting into the smaller of the two models starts off with the 200S—the midrange version of the sedan—that comes coated in one of five exterior hues: Gloss Black Clear Coat, Black Forest Green Pearl Coat, Redline Tri-coat Pearl, Granite Crystal Metallic Clear Coat, and Bright White Clear Coat. These colors are accented by splashes of black, Dark Bronze, and Titanium. You’ll find Dark Bronze on the strips in the upper and lower grilles, coating the 19-inch alloy wheels, and on the “200S” badge on the decklid. The Titanium hue coats the Chrysler wing badge and the exhaust tips.

Moving inside, the 200S Alloy Edition Package has the option of black cloth with leather trim or full-leather interior with Caramel accent stitching. Also making the cabin special are the “S” logos stitched in the seats, and Piano Black and Titanium accents on the door trim panels, center console, outer air vents, and steering wheel badge.

For the big boy of the family, the 300S Alloy Edition Package, it takes the same basic scheme as the 200S Alloy Edition but mods it to fit the big sedan. This package includes a Dark Bronze grille with gloss-black texture and a Titanium wing badge, gloss-black headlight surrounds, body-colored mirror caps, a Dark Bronze strip outlining the lower grille, Dark Bronze 20-inch wheels, a Titanium rear wing badge and exhaust tips, and a Dark Bronze “300S” badge. Buyers can get the 300S Alloy Edition in the same exterior hues as the 200S.

Inside, the 300S Alloy Edition is quite similar to its little bro. In here, you’ll find black Nappa leather with Caramel stitching, and Titanium and Piano Black accents on the center stack, instrument panel, steering wheel, gauge cluster, and door panels.

Both models have available to them their usual powertrain options. The 200S Alloy Edition comes standard with a 3.6-liter V-6 that produces 292 horsepower and has available all-wheel drive. As for the 300S Alloy Edition, buyers have the option of either the 300-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 or the 363-horsepower 5.7-liter V-8. With the 3.6-liter, the 300S Alloy Edition is available with all-wheel drive.
