We all now know that Chevy will unveil the next-generation Camaro on May 16, 2015. With that announcement came the promise of teaser images every week, or so. Well, we now have the first two teaser images to pass on to you, but neither one really gives up any information.

The first teaser image is of the front of the frame. There’s really not much to see here, but it’s still a neat shot nonetheless. The second teaser image shows off the new tri-Y-style exhaust manifolds or the 6.2-liter V-8 engine that will likely power the SS model. Unfortunately, this teaser give up just about as much information as the first one, but it does reaffirm Chevy’s dedication to continuing to offer the Camaro with a V-8, despite all of the fuel and emission regulations in recent years.

Also available is a ringtone that shows of the 2016 Camaro’s exhaust note. If you don’t feel like downloading the ringtone – I advise against it, as it is obnoxiously loud — you can hear the exhaust note in the video below, along with a slideshow of the two latest teaser images. It is well worth the 28 seconds.

The details surrounding the next-generation Camaro are still secret, and that is somewhat surprising considering GM’s tendency to be a leaky bucket. I am certain that as we near the new Camaro’s reveal someone within GM will “accidentally” release some details about the vehicle, be it an image or just specifications, which will then get us all fired up for its debut again.

In its latest press release, Chevy did mention that it revised the new Camaro from front to rear. This includes a new interior — one of the sore spots of the current-generation model — a revised suspension, a wider track, and a lengthened front end.

Until the day comes when GM leaks some good info, we’re stuck waiting or GM to release the next teaser images. According to the microsite dedicated to the new Camaro, the next two images will arrive on March 30th, so stay tuned.
