The all-new 2016 Chevy Camaro is set to debut this fall, but some folks want more than just the standard model. Chevy recognizes this demand, so it is revealing the available accessories and performance upgrades for the new muscle car ahead of its arrival in dealerships.

While we cannot go through every single available option, we will touch on the coolest of the offerings.

First up is a performance exhaust system, which is available for the LT1 V-8 in the SS and the 3.6-liter V-6 in the LT trim. This system, which is not compatible with the dual-mode exhaust system, gives the Camaro an angry growl while retaining the standard warranty.

Also available is a performance air-intake system. This free-flow intake allows air to flow into the engine more freely, thereby increasing throttle response. This kit is only available with the LT1 V-8.

For buyers looking for better handling, there are several lowering kits available. These kits include lowering springs and updated shocks and struts to drop the Camaro by up to 0.8 inches. These kits are available for the LT and SS models, but they are not compatible with SS models that have magnetic ride control.

Stopping and slowing down are oft-overlooked traits that can make a massive difference on a racetrack, and Chevy has you covered with two brake kits. The first kit includes four-piston Brembo front calipers, performance brake pads, and 13.6-inch front Duralast rotors. The second kit includes Brembo six-piston front calipers, performance brake pads, two-piece, vented and slotted Duralife front rotors measuring 14.6 inches. The first brake kit is available on all Camaros with the 2.0-liter and 3.6-liter engines, while the second kit is compatible with all Camaros.

Also available is a long list of aesthetic bits that enhance the look of the new Camaro. Some examples of these aesthetic upgrades include three aluminum wheel designs, various grille kits, a blade-style rear spoiler, ground effects, four graphics kits, various interior trim kits, smoked taillight lenses, and illuminated or blacked-out bowtie emblems.
