We can file this one in the “someone’s getting fired” bin.  According to Autovisie.nl, a German importer inadvertently posted a brochure that details the yet-to-be-revealed Jaguar F-Type SVR. If you sprechen Deutsch, you can check out the full brochure here. Otherwise, we have already dived into the leaked document and pulled out all the really important bits.

The SVR model will roll into showrooms boasting the same 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 as the F-Type R, but with its juice cranked to 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque—increases of 25 ponies and 14 units of twist. Like the Type R, the SVR will route this power to all four wheels as standard, pushing its 0-to-100 km/h (62 mph) time down by 0.4 seconds from the R’s 4.1 seconds. The SVR coupe will top out at 200 mph, which is 24 mph faster than the R. For those who opt for the convertible version of the SVR, it will give you a 194 mph hairstyle. The SVR will have its power routed exclusively through an eight-speed auto transmission.

The SVR touch is never just about power. Jaguar’s in-house hot-hand also spends plenty of time working on aero bits. The F-Type SVR is no exception to this, as it gains larger front air intakes on the apron, a larger wing out back that, according to the brochure, collapses at speeds between 50 and 70 mph in the coupe and between 60 and 40 mph with a drop-top. This is likely to help with fuel economy on the highway, and I am willing to bet the driver can disable this feature.

Lightening and modifying the suspension are the two final touches when transforming the F-Type to an SVR rig. The tuning arm added in wider wheels made from aluminum to hack off 22 pounds and give it a larger patch touching the road. Lightening goes a step further with the addition of a titanium exhaust system that drops another 26 pounds. Lastly, buyers can opt for a ceramic brake kit that not only enhances the system’s effectiveness and longevity, but also cuts a whopping 46 pounds of unsprung weight from the corners.

Pricing remains unknown at this point, but the general rule of “if you gotta ask, it’s likely too expensive” should apply in this case.

Stay tuned for updates.
