Audi is seemingly always ahead of the rest of the automotive world when it comes to revealing new products. Today, it beats most others to the 2017 punch, as it has revealed the 2017 A4.

According to Motor Authority, the 2017 A4 will carry the new look and size of the recently unveiled Euro-spec A4. In the U.S., the A4 will come standard with a 2.0-liter TFSI four-cylinder engine that puts out 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. This marks a 32-horsepower and 15-pound-feet increase over the 2016 A4’s 2.0-liter engine.

Optionally, buyer can toss in the new-for-2017 2.0-liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder that produces 190 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque.

Both of these engines will initially come only with quattro all-wheel drive, but front-wheel drive will arrive later in the model year. Delivering the power to the wheels will be a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission. There is no mention of a manual transmission yet, but this could show up in later details.

The A4 will also feature a slew of premium features as standard, according to the report. These include three-zone auto climate control, a 40/40/20 split rear seat, and a 7-inch center screen. Optional equipment will include MMI Navigation Plus, which adds in an 8.3-inch screen, navigation, Google Earth view, and a touchpad for drawing letters to input. The MMI Navigation Plus package also adds in the 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit, Apple CarPlay, and Google Android Auto.

There are still no details on pricing, but with the 2017 A4 set to hit dealers in March 2016, it shouldn’t be but a few months before Audi releases these details. Look for an S4 and RS4 to arrive a year, or so, after the release of the base A4.
