For the 2016 model year, Audi has updated the A6 and A7 sedans. Both models receive updated looks and drivetrains. And now we have official pricing details to go along with these updates.

In terms of appearances, the A6 and A7 both underwent light refreshes. Both received new LED headlights, wider Singleframe grilles, updated and sportier bumpers, new taillights, and new trapezoidal exhaust exits.

New technology is also in the mix for the 2016 A6 and A7, with the highlight of these changes being a new, 4G LTE wireless internet connection. This system allows up to eight devices to connect to it.

With all of the small changes out of the way, let’s talk about the changes that will garner the most attention. I am talking about the updates to the engines. The A6’s 2.0-liter TFSI engine gains an extra 32 horsepower, which puts it at 252 ponies and 273 pound-feet of torque. The 3.0-liter TFSI in both the A7 and A7 produces 333 horsepower, a 23-horsepower bump, and 325 pound-feet of torque. Lastly, the 4.0-liter TFSI V-8 in the S6 and S7 jumps by 30 horsepower to 450 ponies and 406 pound-feet of torque.

What’s more, the 2.0-liter TFSI and the 3.0-liter are also a little more efficient at 26 mpg and 24 mpg combined, respectively.

A few engines remain unchanged for the new model year. The 3.0-liter TDI engines remains at 240 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque in both the A6 and A7. Also unchanged is the 4.0-liter TFSI, which produces 560 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.

Pricing for the 2016 A6 starts at $46,200 for the 2.0T Premium trim, while the 2016 A7 starts $68,300 for the 3.0T Premium Plus trim. For those looking for true performance models, the S6 starts at $70,900, the S7 starts at $82,900, and the RS 7 bases at $108,900.
