BMW is celebrating its 100th birthday this year, and, as expected, there are vehicles that celebrate this mark in the works. Today, the mighty M6 gets in on the celebratory fun with a new limited-run model dubbed the Celebration Edition Competition. This model has all the looks and power needed to represent the company well, but the sad part is that it’s only available in Japan.

This limited-edition model boasts a slew of exterior mods that set it apart from the normal M6. These changes include a BMW Individual Austin Yellow paint job, 20-inch M light-alloy rollers, a special black finish on the grille, door handles and side gills, and carbon-fiber reinforced-reinforced plastic rear spoiler and rear diffuser.

The interior also gets a special touch with its Merino Leather wrapping, yellow contrast stitching, Alcantara-wrapped M sport steering wheel with carbon-fiber trim, and more.

Sure, the fancy paint and features are all well and good, but the real sweetness is under the hood where a fire-breathing 4.4-liter turbocharged V-8 lives. In standard form, this engine cranks out 560 horsepower and 680 Nm (502 pound-feet) of torque, but this beast gets a boost to 600 ponies and 700 Nm (516 pound-feet) of torque. To help handle the extra go-fast bits, BMW has also added chassis upgrades and an M carbon-ceramic brake system.

Only 13 examples of this badass M6 will roam the streets of Japan, and each one will run an eye-watering ¥23,210,000 ($209,073).
