2017 Chevy Cruze Hatchback Pricing Released
You’ll start seeing the Chevy Cruze Hatchback this fall when it hits dealerships as a 2017 model. We finally know how much the little hatch will set you back, with an official base price of $22,190.
That’s pretty affordable, almost assuring it will become a favorite of college students and retired old folks alike. Oh, and Chevy says that price actually includes the destination charge. You’ll still have to pony up for tax, title and dealer fees.
Younger drivers might like the sound of the 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, but they need to keep in mind that service doesn’t come free. Essentially, it’s another data plan, so some drivers might opt to only use their phone. There’s also a wireless charging pad, plus Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility
Two trims will be available for this first-run of the Cruze Hatchback: LT and Premier. Chevy’s also going to offer an RS package. Like the sedan, it’s powered by an EcoTec 1.4-liter engine.
The big advantage of the hatch is more cargo space. Folding down the backseats gives you 47.2 cubic feet for stashing stuff.
Parents should know the car comes with Teen Driver tech, allowing them to play watchdog with their young drivers, if they so choose.
