Minivans are far from exciting, but that doesn’t mean we can just ignore their presence in the market. If there is one that is at least a little cool, it has to be the Nissan Swagger Wagon, AKA the Nissan Quest. Today, the Japanese automaker has released all of the details on the 2016 iteration of its resident family hauler, including its pricing and the handful of updates it’s undergone.

For the 2016 model year, the only real obvious change is the addition of a set of standard roof rails on the SV trim level. Other than this minor tweak, the rest of the 2016 Nissan Quest is virtually identical to the 2015 model.

Under its hood, the 2016 Quest continues on with the same 3.5-liter V-6 engine that it had in 2015. This engine produces a decent 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of twist. While its power is the same as last year, Nissan managed to squeeze an extra combined mpg, putting the Quest at 20 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined. Nissan didn’t mention what caused the small jump in fuel economy.

In terms of pricing, the Quest goes nearly unchanged, as the S, SL, and Platinum models carry the same pricing as the 2015 model at $26,530, $34,060, and $43,180, respectively. The SV model – the one that gains the new roof rails – jumps by $210. To $30,490.

Other than the few changes that I detailed above, the 2016 Nissan Quest continues on in the same form as it did in 2015. Nothing too overly exciting, but hey, it is a minivan, so what did you expect?
