The English automaker has been stalking around silently lately, but it is about to unleash on the world a new cat that provides insane, tire-shredding performance and a smashingly good-looking body. The F-Type is the first new roadster produced by Jaguar in forty years, and the automaker comes roaring back into the market segment. The most potent version of the car, the V8 S, has a massive 5.0-liter V-8 supercharged engine that belts out 495 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, enabling the car to achieve 0 to 60 in an estimated 4.2 seconds. The roadster can be outfitted with features like a heated windshield, illuminated door sills, active exhaust control, and customizable dynamic modes that alter vehicle performance with the push of a button.
