Watch A Hennessey Camaro Race A Challenger Hellcat

There’s no denying that the Dodge Challenger Hellcat is a fast car. One might have famously lost in a drag race against a Tesla Model S, but driver error had a huge part in that.

Instead of the hardcore American muscle car going against an EV, this time it’s facing off against another hardcore American muscle car: the Hennessey HPE750. In case you don’t know, that’s a 751-horsepower Camaro.

To push that kind of power out of the LT1, Hennessey uses a CNC ported cylinder head, a TVS2300 supercharger pushing 7 psi and a full exhaust system swap. It’s definitely a worthy rival to the mighty Hellcat.

Some of you no doubt are thinking this isn’t exactly a fair race. After all, one car is stock and the other has been tuned with aftermarket parts. That may be true, but it’s still fun to watch.
