Watch A BMW Attack Ad On Tesla

BMW has launched a new ad campaign for the 330e, its newest plug-in hybrid car. Instead of just focusing on what’s so great about it, the company has gone with pointing out there are hundreds of thousands of people waiting for the Tesla Model 3 when they could be driving the Bimmer.

One of the commercials is below. Watch it for yourself and decide if you think it’ll sway any Tesla customers.

Depending on how you see it, the BMW commercial below is either a desperate attempt for the German automaker to feel superior in comparison to Tesla, or a brilliant play to scoop up people who got duped into waiting for a car they know little about.

The truth is Tesla is horrible about hitting deadlines. It was a complete shock when the initial Model 3 reveal party kicked off on time. Who knows when the car will truly launch.
