The performance luxury-sedan market is still very much alive, despite all of the recent movement toward being more Eco-friendly and such. Models like the BMW M3, Cadillac ATS-V and CTS-V, and the redesigned 2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 are all proof that this segment isn’t going away any time in the near future. Now with Mercedes-AMG’s addition to this segment just about to hit showroom floors, the automaker has revealed its pricing.

The base 2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 Sedan will start out at $63,900, making it $1,900 more expensive than its No. 1 rival, the BMW M3. At this price point, you get a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V-8 engine that pumps out 469 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, an AMG Speedshift seven-speed transmission, AMG Dynamic Select, Burmester audio system, AMG Adaptive Suspension, a touchpad interface, LED headlights, 18-inch staggered alloy wheels, and much more.

Moving into the 2016 Mercedes-AMG C63 S bumps the base price to $71,900. For the extra scratch, buyers get the same 4.0-liter bi-turbo V-8 engine as the C63, but with its power cranked to 503 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. The C63 S also has all of the same standard features as the C63, plus an electronic-locking rear differential, 19-inch staggered alloy wheels, dynamic engine mounts, red brake calipers, and nappa leather seating.

Buyers in need of more goodies can dive into Mercedes’ long list of optional features for the C63. This list includes items like Parktronic, blind-spot assist, a panoramic sunroof, 19-inch forged alloy wheels, an AMG performance exhaust, and more. For buyers picking up the C63 S who need extra stopping power, Mercedes offers an optional carbon-ceramic brake kit for it.

The Mercedes-AMG C63 and C63 S are now available for order from your local Mercedes dealer.
