See Diesel-Powered American Muscle Cars In Action
Some people just want to watch the world burn, while others want to watch American muscle cars burn oil.
A shop in Minnesota, called One of Won, has managed to stuff large diesel engines in modern American muscle cars. One is a Dodge Charger that runs with a 5.9-liter 12-valve Cummins. Another is a Camaro with a 6.6-liter Duramax.
Of course, both cars kick out some pretty serious performance. The Charger is rated at 306 horsepower and 721 lb.-ft. of torque. Even better is the Camaro, with a wondrous 516 horsepower and 896 lb.-ft. of torque.
Stuffing such large engines into the cars took some fairly extensive modifications. There’s also the moral dilemma of rolling coal each time you do a burnout in them. For some that would be the whole point of owning these cars, because pissing off people is fun or something.
